awarded to highly qualified PhD candidates, recent PhDs or to
individuals wishing to earn a doctoral degree in Germany.

Eligibility:
Very
highly qualified university graduates can apply for a DAAD research
grant. In addition to this, the most important selection criterion is a
convincing and well-planned research and training proposal for the stay
in Germany that has been agreed with an academic supervisor at the
prospective German host institution.
